Tracc Civil was engaged by Stockland WA to complete road upgrade and duplication works on Forrest Road in Hilbert, supporting access to Stockland’s Sienna Wood town centre. The works covered a 1.4km section between Wollaston Avenue and Eleventh Road, with the project awarded in August 2024 and completed in March 2026.

Scope: Demolition, clearing, earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage, subsoil drainage, water reticulation, electrical works, kerbing, median construction, roundabouts and road tie-ins.
The Forrest Road Upgrade and Duplication involved the construction of new road infrastructure while maintaining access through an active traffic corridor.
Tracc Civil’s scope included demolition, clearing, earthworks, roadworks, stormwater and subsoil drainage, water reticulation and electrical works.
The project also included kerbing, median construction and tie-in works completed in sections, including roundabout works along the alignment.
A key part of the project was keeping Forrest Road open throughout construction.
Traffic was occasionally reduced to a single lane, with traffic management in place to maintain safe movement through the work area.
The 8m-wide carriageway allowed traffic to be directed through staged sections while works continued on the remaining areas, including median strips, road tie-ins and roundabout connections.
The Forrest Road Upgrade and Duplication improves road capacity and access around the Sienna Wood town centre, supporting the continued growth of Hilbert, Haynes and the surrounding area.
For Tracc Civil, the project shows the team’s ability to deliver staged roadworks, service infrastructure and drainage works within an active transport environment, while maintaining access for the local community.
