Overview

Tracc Civil was contracted to construct the North East Access Road and Carpark Works at 8 Kennedya Drive Joondalup.

Safety

Tracc Civil kept construction work isolated from active school ground. The work zone was fenced off from the school activities which continued as per usual and regular safety meetings were held.

 

Project Challenges

• Working on a tight site meant there was a higher risk of damaging our own work

• School was not closed so the project was taking place in active school hours.

 

Managing These Challenges

• Tracc Civil created an effective safety management plan including the developed of Unique Operating Procedures for working on school grounds.
